oops, fergot to blog yesterday....
hmm wut did i do yesterday... church... then i went home... then i went to lingling's concert!! lol it was AWESUMM their songs are soo much cooler. nd i got to see mah buddies agen! Chris Lee is a lot different ;D hehe. nd the percussionist luks lyk lerpy's brother =P koolio stuff... i think ima try to get back in GHYO... buhh if i dun make symphony orchestra.. then.. yea i duno. =/ there were 8 players per section.... very hard to get in...
oo then i went to shawn's house for dinner. watched an awesum singporean movie. "I not stupid" lol its soooo funny. buh u have to be singaporean to understand it. lyk there's this mom in there that has a REALL heavy singlish accent. hahaha made me laff so hard. "ahh, i tell you that one leh! noo good. u are veRY fortunet to have a veh-lee responsiboh nd carING mothda leehh. be apreCIatiVE la!!" hahahaha sooo awesum. *singaporean pride*
woohoo! i was suppose to have a challenge today for my seat in tennis. yes, long, its SEATTT.. lol yea well she fregot or.. there wasn't enuf time or sumthing. yea so im saved.. for this week...
nd then we had SOLO auditions in TeamTime. omg, ms. townley doesn't have to give us false hope mayn. i know Wayne got the part. nd he completely deserves it. o crap, i need to call lingling bout the results. lol almost fergot. yea well Wayne is a good violinist, he has a good violin, nd he can be a soloist. he got the skeels, the talent, nd the instrument to do so. me? i got sum skills. but they aren't good yet. talent? ZERO im juss lucky i got this far... soloist?? i lyk the sound of the orchestra more than the sound of my own violin. orchestra is actually a really awesum thing. a group of musicians come together nd play as one. the balance, the pitch, the sound, the combination of notes brings out prolly the most magnificent thing man can make. i lyk that sound, that feel better than what i can ever play.
yea i kno tiffy nd lawa keep telling me that im good nd im too hard on myself... lawa eben slapped me =X that hurt. lol anyways... u can't really say im good. i mean sure, i kno the notes, i kno the positions, the rhythms... buh i can't make that sound. there's a certain point at where the bow hair, the stick, and the string meet that makes that sound. most ppl miss it wen they first play... but me... i've been playing for almost 10 years nd i still don't have it. that's pathetic if u ask me. lol sooooo im not being hard on myself. im telling the truth. there are sooo many more ppl better than me that are YOUNGER than me. nd i kno wayne is one of them. why should i stand in the way of him playing this solo he completely deserves?? nd the only reason ms. townley told us she has "finalists" is becuz she knows me nd tiffy are 8th graders. its our last year, we have no more chances of a solo in middle school. its all politics man! lol
... for now, i'll juss concentrate more on being the stupid luzer i am =D *beams wif pride*
o yea... sowie for u ppl who don't play instruments nd have no earthly idea wut im talking about =P
